Event Visual Identity: ‘Noaptea Filosofiei’
Event visual identity project – social media & print materials for the French Institute (under French Embassy in Romania). The event was dedicated to a philosophical series of conferences and cultural happenings with two main directions: one for adults (Noaptea Filosofiei – ‘Philosophy Night’) and one for children (Gouter Philo – ‘Philo Snacks’)). While I worked on all the social media materials, web banners, stickers, printed banners and roll-ups, and developed the Gouter Philo visual concept, the original cats illustration and choice of black/yellow palette was done by another artist (Ovidiu Hrin) together with the main event poster (not included here).
The black & yellow concept is in line with the event sessions that took place during the evening/night. Opposite to that, for Gouter Philo, an event dedicated to children I maintained the same character (the cats) but used a more child-friendly approach in vibrant colors with a playful font.
While the characters were vectorized from the original version I worked alone for all the layout, font options and graphic variations. The playfulness of the overall concept brought a lot of freedom in designing these visual identity materials and the result as well as the work itself came with a lot of joy. It was a vast project that I deeply connected with and I am more than grateful to have worked on it.
