The project essence
Iele Sânziene, a passionate feminist NGO, invited me to help redefine their visual identity—a project close to my heart. Their wide-ranging audience spans from young adults to companies and institutions championing women’s initiatives and education among youth. They needed a brand that radiates strength, activism, and sisterhood—bold yet approachable and never confined to clichéd “feminine” tropes. The mission was clear: create a visual identity that is readable, recognizable, and deeply respected.
THE CREATIVE APPROACH
The challenge lay in balancing boldness with authenticity, rejecting stereotypes in favor of a grounded, universal feminist message. I began by exploring strong, clean typography paired with one original color from their previous branding—a soft, nostalgic purple serving as a bridge between past and future. The core concept blossomed around a stylized uterus symbol, minimalistic and impactful, symbolizing resilience, unity, and empowerment.
The color palette was deliberately layered with meaning: purple for continuity and transformation, red for action, menstruation, and visibility, fuchsia to embody compassion and self-respect, and yellow representing youth, energy, and hope. This palette, combined with the symbol and typography, creates a visual voice that is confident, striking, and inclusive.
Working closely with Iele Sânziene team, we shaped not just visuals but the very way the brand speaks—shifting from traditional feminine cues towards a narrative of collective strength and education, grounded in real-world activism and empathy.
The Creative Harvest
Deliverables included a comprehensive logo package, detailed brand guidelines, and versatile social media assets—all reflecting the fiery spirit and heartfelt mission of Iele Sânziene. This identity goes beyond aesthetics; it’s a rallying cry for women’s rights, youth empowerment, and community care.
Personally, this project stands as one of my most treasured. It reminded me of the silent, transformative power of women—how sisterhood and solidarity fuel education and responsibility for a compassionate future. Iele Sânziene’s new identity proudly carries that legacy forward and invites all who see it to join the cause.
